Young girls are especially fond of cakes. In view of this, it is not strange that there are many cake shops near Ewha Womans University. But, how do you choose from so many options? That is why we decided to introduce three cake shops which are near Ewha and which are popular in the Internet. We are going to concentrate on price, atmosphere, calorie and taste.
Cafe Pera
The first palce to introduce is the Cafe Pera. Pera is near to Ewha Womans University. From the front gate of Ewha, you need only three minutes to go there.
Pera sells many kinds of cakes as shown in the picture. We chose and ate 3 different cakes which looked delicious: Strawberry Tart(226 calories), Chocolate Chiffon (293 calories), and Sweet Potato Cake (256 calories).
The Strawberry Tart which contains light cheese cream and strawberries is very sweet, but a piece of it is too small. Next, Chocolate Chiffon is not attractive, because fresh cream in Chiffon is little bit thick. Last, Sweet Potato cake made of real sweet potatoes is not greasy.
We could enjoy the antique atmosphere in Pera, but the shop is small and there are too many people to have a quiet time. Despite of the crowded atmosphere, cafe Pera is good place to have delicious cake at a reasonable price.
Have a good time at C'lucy!
Among three cake shops, C'lucy is the closest to the front gate of Ewha Womans University. It only takes less than 5 minutes to get there. C'lucy is located in the left side of the first corner.
After entering the cafe, there are many kinds of cakes and we decided to eat Real Cacao, Mocha Mousse, and Deep New York Cheese.
Among three choices, we love Real Cacao the most, and the worst thing is Mocha Mousse. In Mocha Mousse, there is too much cream on the bread so it feels greasy.
The atmosphere of this place was the best. The eating place in the second floor was large and clean and we could have a nice time because it is no crowded. The calories of the three cakes in the cafe are not as high as they are in the cakes from the other two cafes. The price was reasonable for its reputation.

Cafe La Lee
Are you confused which cafe you should go when you have appointments with older people? There are so many cafes near Ewha Womans University, but not many cafes for older people. Cafe La Lee is a nice cafe for people of all ages. It is near Ewha University's back gate.
The inside is quite wide, calm, and classy. The taste of cakes and coffee is good, but the price is much more expensive than other cafes.
We chose three cakes. The strawberry fresh cream cake has many real strawberries and the fresh cream is not that sweet and greasy. So, it is good for older people too. All of us thought it was the best among the three cakes.(price:7000won / calories: about 235)
The tiramisu cake was not that sweet too. (price:6500won / calories: about 340) And the fruits cart cake had many wild berries and blue berries. The bread includes lots of nuts and tastes really good, but it is too sour.(price:6500won / calories: about 310)
To sum up, Cafe La Lee is good place to stay for a long time; for instance, you can read a book thanks to the calm atmosphere. In addition, you can go there with your parents and talk with them for a long time! Your parents might like the place and cakes!
